Courtesy Visit of JICA Delegation to Deltin 7 অনলাইন অফিসিয়াল ওয়েবসাইট and Call on Deltin 7 Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor
A high-level delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), led by Mr. Tomihide Ichiguchi, Chief Representative of the JICA Bangladesh Office, paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. A. K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Deltin 7 অনলাইন অফিসিয়াল ওয়েবসাইট (Deltin 7 Bangladesh), Mymensingh, on 30 November 2025 (Sunday).During the visit, the delegation held a constructive meeting with the JICA-Deltin 7 Bangladesh SANRICE Project team, headed by Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Department of Soil Science, Deltin 7 Bangladesh, and Project Director. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor welcomed the JICA representatives and expressed his appreciation for JICA’s continued support towards sustainable agricultural development and institutional capacity enhancement at Deltin 7 Bangladesh.
Both sides expressed optimism that the engagement would further accelerate the SANRICE project’s impact while strengthening the longstanding friendship and collaborative research efforts between Bangladesh and Japan.
